Swachhta Pledge

The Swachhata Hi Seva Campaign 2024 was formally launched at the Institute by Director administering the Swachhata pledge, which emphasized the importance of maintaining cleanliness in our surroundings, workplaces, and society to the staff of the Institute. During the ocassion the Director also briefed the various activities which will be organised at the Institute during the Campaign.

At Visakhapatnam Centre of ICAR-Central Institute of Fisheries Technology (ICAR-CIFT) Swachata Pledge, was administered to the staff reinforcing its commitment to cleanliness and the Swachh Bharat Mission. The event was graced by the presence of Shri Bhami Reddy, Zonal Director (IC) of the Visakhapatnam Base, Fishery Survey of India (FSI), who was the visiting guest for the occasion. All employees of the Visakhapatnam Centre participated actively and took the pledge, reaffirming their dedication to the cause of a cleaner, healthier India. The event concluded with a collective resolve to continue working towards the objectives of Swachh Bharat and inspire others to join the movement for a cleaner nation.

The Swachhta Pledge was also taken by the staff of Mumbai Research Centre under the leadership of Dr K K Asha, Scientist Incharge of the Centre.
