In continuation with the Swachhata Hi Seva Campaign 2024, a quiz programme was organised at Kendriya Vidyalaya, Kadavanthara on 18th September 2024 to the students of Class 8 and Class 9. The theme of the Quiz was Swachhata, saving water and plastic pollution. The quiz was organised by Dr Santosh Alex, CTO of ICAR CIFT, Cochin and the students participated enthusiastically in the programme. The prize winners were awarded with books on general knowledge and science topics.
Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam Event at Visakhapatnam Centre of CIFT
As part of the ongoing Swachhta Hi Seva Celebrations, the awareness and plantation drive titled "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam" was conducted with great enthusiasm at the ICAR-Central Institute of Fisheries Technology (ICAR-CIFT) on 18.09.24. This program aimed to raise awareness about environmental conservation. The programme was led by Dr. U. Sreedhar, Scientist-in-Charge, and co-ordinated by Dr. Jesmi Debbarma, the Nodal Officer. Along with them, all the scientists and the entire staff of ICAR-CIFT and family members of the staff actively participated in the event. A significant aspect of the programme was the involvement of the families of the staff members contributing by planting trees, thus emphasizing the theme of nurturing.
