Diamond jubilee celebration at Mumbai Research Centre of ICAR-CIFT

Dr. L. N. Murthy, Scientist-In-Charge, MRC, ICAR-CIFT presided over the function and addressed the various activities undertaken by the centre. The Chief Guest of the function, Dr. Sasidhar in his address appreciated the research work undertaken by Mumbai Research Centre of ICAR-CIFT in the area of fish processing and value addition. The highlight of diamond jubilee celebration was honoring of the retired staff of MRC, ICAR-CIFT.

 An open day was also conducted for exhibiting the ICAR-CIFT technologies and activities. Children from IES Navi Mumbai High School, fisherfolkand entrepreneurs from Vashi made their active participation in the programme. In association with the diamond jubilee celebration at MRC of ICAR-CIFT, a quiz competition for school children was also carried out and prizes were distributed to the winners.
