Dr. B. Meenakumari, Director, CIFT, Cochin received the 6th Dr. R.C. Dalela Oration Award -2009 from Dr. William D. Dar, Director General, International Crop Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics (ICRISAT), Hyderabad at the 29th Annul Session of The Academy of Environmental Biology held at ICRISAT. Dr. Meenakumari also delivered a lecture on the topic, “Remote sensing in fisheries on the occasion.
