ICAR-Central Institute of Fisheries Technology, Cochin received a cash award of Rs. 5 Lakhs instituted by Ministry of Agriculture, Govt. of India for “Pushing Cashless Economy Goals” among the ICAR Institutes. The award was received by Dr. C.N. Ravishankar, Director, ICAR-CIFT, Cochin from Shri Radha Mohan Singh, Hon’ble Minister for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Govt. of India during the Annual Conference of Vice Chancellors of Agricultural Universities and Directors of ICAR Institutes held at New Delhi on 14 February, 2017. ICAR-CIFT achieved the goal within the stipulated period of one week.
