Dr. M.P. Remesan and his team have received the Best Paper Presentation Award at the 14th Asian Fisheries and Aquaculture Forum (AFAF), held at the NASC Complex, New Delhi, from 12–14 February 2025. The award was conferred for their paper titled "Enhancing Energy Efficiency in Trawling: Success Story of CIFT-VSOB," presented under the technical session "Resource Assessment and Management for Sustainable Fisheries."
