ICAR-Central Institute of Fisheries Technology, Cochin received the Wiley Library Award for Highest Usage of Wiley Journals in 2017 within CeRA Consortium (Fisheries & Aquaculture Institutes). The award was received by Dr. Suseela Mathew, Scientist-in-Charge (Library) and Smt. T. Silaja, Assistant Chief Technical Officer (Library) at Wiley Library Award function held at New Delhi on 20 December, 2017. ICAR-CIFT library has been digitally transformed through Consortium of e-Resources on Agriculture (CeRA) and by the implementation of eGranth NAIP project. Remote access to e-Resources has been provided through EZproxy so that researchers working at Centres also could avail the services of the main library. At present ICAR-CIFT Library has access to 2500+ e-journals and 1174 e-books, India Agristat and ISO Standards on Food and Technology under CeRA. ICAR-CIFT library portal provides links to  e- resources  including open access resources and e-repository developed at the institute.  Digitised ICAR-CIFT publications are also available through National Digital Library of India (NDL). Regular workshops, awareness programmes and e-mail alerts are provided especially among young researchers  enhancing the usage of e-Resources.
