ISO 9001:2015 Surveillance Audit of ICAR-CIFT carried out

Virtual opening meeting ISO 9001:2015

The ISO 9001:2015 Surveillance Audit of ICAR-Central Institute of Fisheries Technology, Cochin was conducted virtually on 11 October 2022. The audit started with an opening meeting in which the Director (Acting), Dr. Leela Edwin, ISO Team Leader, Dr. Nikita Gopal, ISO Team Members, Dr. Mohamed Ashraf, Dr. C.O. Mohan, Dr. V. Murugadas and Dr. Aniesrani Delifya, and coordinating administrative staff Smt. Raji V K (AAO) and Mr. Subeesh S S (LDC) participated.  Shri. Shivom Sharma and Shri. B.D. Pandey, Auditors (IMS), URS Certification Limited also attended. The external auditor Shri. Shivom Sharma explained the scope of the audit and the audit plan. ISO documents related to the Institute were reviewed and a virtual visit to two laboratories was undertaken to assess ISO QMS implementation.
