Business Incubation Outreach Programme at CIFT, Cochin
The Zonal Technology Management – Business Planning and Development (ZTM-BPD) Unit, South Zone organized a “Business Incubation Outreach Programme” on 8th December 2011 at CIFT, Cochin. The programme was organized as part of the business networking activities taken up by the ZTM-BPD Unit in collaboration with the Food Processing Division (FPD), Alberta Agriculture and Rural Development, Canada. The FPD has a hub consisting of a Food Processing Development Centre (FPDC) and the Agrivalue Processing Business Incubator (APBI) located in Leduc, Alberta.
Mr. Ken Gossen, the Executive Director, FPD was the Chief Guest of the programme. The event consisted of an Interactive Session with the Scientists at CIFT, during which Mr. Ken gave a talk on “Business Incubation – a Canadian Approach”. An Industry Interface Meeting was also organized with the industry representatives from fisheries and other allied agricultural sectors.
