Training on ‘refrigerated fish vending kiosk’ to fisherwomen across Kerala

A one-day training programme was conducted on ‘refrigerated mobile fish vending kiosk’ to the beneficiaries of the CSR project with Cochin Shipyard Ltd., for the distribution of Refrigerated Mobile Fish Vending Kiosks for Fisherwomen across Kerala on 15-9-2021. The training program was attended by 25 participants who belonged to various fisherwomen activity groups across Kerala recognized by SAF, GoK. The working of refrigerated fish vending kiosk and hand operated fish descaling machine was demonstrated in addition to the classes on fish handling, storage, packaging, quality evaluation and fish waste management. At the end of the training, certificates were distributed to participants by Dr. George Ninan, Head, Engineering Division, in presence of other staff of CIFT.
