As per the initiative of Government of India under the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s programme on ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’, Swachh Pakhwara (16-31 May, 2017)activities were initiated atICAR- Central Institute of Fisheries Technology, Cochin on 16^th May, 2017. In this connection, various programmes have been envisaged at CIFT, Cochin covering office and public places. The fortnightly celebrations started with a pledge administered by Director, ICAR-CIFT Dr. C.N. Ravishankar on 16^th May 2017 at the office. The Director, CIFT urged upon the staff to keep the office and lab premises neat and clean and also requested all staff to participate in the fortnight long celebrations to make Swacch Pakhwada a grand success.
