Secretary (DARE) & D G (ICAR) visits ICAR-CIFT

Dr. Trilochan Mohapatra, Secretary, DARE and Director General, Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR, New Delhi  visited ICAR- Central Institute of Fisheries Technology, Cochin  on 18^th April, 2016. He was accompanied by Shri Chhabilendra Roul, IAS, Additional Secretary (DARE) and Secretary (ICAR), Dr. Joykrushna Jena, Deputy Director General (Fisheries), ICAR and Dr. P. Pravin, Assistant Director General (Marine Fisheries), ICAR. The formal function held in the roof top auditorium was presided over by Dr. C.N. Ravishankar, Director of the Institute.  Dr. Mohapatra in his address to the staff  lauded the remarkable achievements of the Institute and complemented each one. He also emphasized the need for giving more respects to the women employees of the Institute. Shri Chhabilendra Roul, IAS, Dr. Joykrushna Jena and Dr. P. Pravin also addressed the august audience Dr. Ravishankar welcomed the gathering while Dr. Suseela Mathew, HOD, Biochemistry & Nutrition Division proposed the vote of thanks. The dignitaries also visited the various research laboratories of the Institute.
