Inspection on implementation of Official Language was held at Veraval Research Center of ICAR-Central Institute of Fisheries Technology on 30.01.2023 under the chairmanship of Shri. Mohinder Kumar, Chief Staff Officer, Office of the Director General, Indian Council of Agricultural Research, Delhi. During the inspection, the officials inspected the official language activities being conducted at the Centre. The Inspection Committee expressed their satisfaction on the compliance of Official Language Rule 11 and Section 3(3) of the Official Language Act, 1963 in the Centre and the use of Official Language by the staff of the Centre. They gave various suggestions and guidance for the upgradation of Official Language implementation in the Centre. They also suggested for the Hindi Translator of the Centre to take training given by the Central Translation Bureau for the upliftment of Official Language activities. Shri. Mahesh Kumar Gupta, Assistant Chief Technical Officer, Office of the Director General, ICAR, Delhi, Shri. Om Prakash Joshi, Assistant Chief Technical Officer, Hindi Section, ICAR, Delhi and Shri. Hari Om, Chief Private Secretary, Additional Secretary and Financial Advisory Office ICAR, Delhi were present in the inspection committee.
