ICAR-CIFT Partners with GeeRAA Foods for Value Addition

The ICAR–Central Institute of Fisheries Technology (ICAR-CIFT) has signed a consultancy agreement with GeeRAA Foods, Vaikom, on 3 December 2025 at Kochi. The agreement aims to provide technical know-how for the production of frozen salads using fish and chicken.

Under the collaboration, ICAR-CIFT will act as a consultant and extend technical guidance, and product development support for the preparation of value-added frozen salad products.

GeeRAA Foods is founded by Dr. Geo A. G., Joint Director (retired) from the Department of Animal Husbandry, Kerala.

This partnership highlights ICAR-CIFT’s continued efforts to bridge scientific research with industry application and promote the development of high-quality, safe, and innovative food products.
