Handing over of descaling machine to Parayil Food Products Pvt. Ltd.

Parayil Food Products Pvt. Ltd. is a fish and fishery products especially frozen fish items exporting company. A request was received from M/s Parayil Food Products Pvt. Ltd., Aroor for purchase of a manual fish descaling machine of 5 kg capacity. In this regard, 5 kg capacity manual descaling machine costing around Rs. 16,000/- was fabricated and handed over to Mr. P.M. Mathew (Managing Director) and Mr. A.P. Sudheer (Quality Assurance Manager), M/s Parayil Food Products Pvt. Ltd. by Dr. C.N. Ravishankar (Director), ICAR-CIFT, Cochin on 11th July, 2017. This programme was started with the welcome address by Dr. Manoj P Samuel, Principal Scientist and Head, Engineering Division, ICAR-CIFT, Cochin. Dr. C.N. Ravishankar, Director, ICAR-CIFT, Cochin has delivered a presidential address and emphasized the contribution of ICAR-CIFT to fish processing industries. Vote of thanks was proposed by Shri. Gokulan.
