Walk-In-interview for Junior Research Fellow at Veraval Research Centre of CIFT

Eligible candidates are invited to attend a Walk-in-interview with all the relevant documents for the position of 01 (One) Jr. Research Fellow on contractual basis to work under Department of Science and Technology funded project titled ‘Livelihood enhancement of Sidi Tribal women and Kharwa women of Veraval in Gujarat through the implementation of improved fish post-harvest technologies’ The period of project will be 03 years/co-terminus with the scheme, at Veraval Research Centre of CIFT, Matsya Bhavan, Bhidia plot, Veraval Gujarat.

Jr. Research Fellow (01 One post) 
Fellowship:  Rs. 25000/- p.m. +  HRA (As per rule)
Essential Qualification: Post graduation in Fisheries Science(MFSc)/Industrial Fisheries/Post Harvest  Technology  of Fish/ Life sciences with working experience in Fisheries.
Desirable : At least one year experience in Research/Extension activities in the field of fisheries.  
(Candidates should have Post graduate degree in basic sciences with NET qualification or Master’s degree  with 4years/5years  of Bachelor’s degree or graduate  degree in professional Course with NET qualification or Post graduate degree in Professional Course)
Recruitment are in accordance with ICAR Guidelines dated 13.07.2015.  
Terms & Conditions: 
  1. Age: Maximum 35 years for men and 40 years for women as on Interview date. 
  2. Registration will begin at 08.30 a.m. and will close at 10.30 a.m.
  3. Age relaxation of 3 years for OBC candidates and 5 years for SC/ST candidates is permissible.
  4. Candidates are required to submit self-attested copies of all the Certificates in support of their claims regarding age, educational qualifications, scheduled caste/scheduled tribe/OBC etc. The original certificates shall be produced for verification before the interview.
  5. Candidates should bring detailed bio-data (in enclosed format) affixing a recent passport size photograph and thesis/project report and publications.
  6. The selected candidate will be recruited on contract basis under ICAR norms. The post is purely temporary and is co-terminus with the project.
  7. The candidates attending the interview should ensure that they fulfill all the eligibility conditions. No correspondence will be entertained from the candidates for selection/test/appointment.
  8. No TA/DA will be paid to attend the interview
  9. Canvassing in any form will render the candidate disqualified for the post
  10. The Director’s decision will be final and binding in all aspects regarding the selection of the post.
